After Iron Man officially opens the summer movies, the next anticipated new movie for this week is Speed Racer.
Directed by the Wachowski Brothers ( creator of the Matrix trilogy ), the brothers team up once again to bring the famous anime to the big screen with ground breaking visual effects. It stars Emile Hirsch, Christina Ricci and Matthew Fox.
Speed Racer was based on the classic 1960s series created by anime pioneer Tatsuo Yoshida that later was retooled for North American audiences, the big-screen film will follow the adventures of the young race car driver Speed in his quest for glory in his thundering gadget-laden vehicle, Mach 5. The movie will feature other characters from the show, including Speed's family and his mysterious archrival, Racer X.
It's been almost a decade now since Cameron Diaz starred in There's Something Mary, Cameron Diaz one again stars in a romantic comedy by teaming up with Ashton Kutcher.Set in Sin City, storyline revolves around two strangers who wake up to discover they got married sometime during the previous night's drunken festivities, with one of them winning a huge jackpot on the other's quarter. The couple set out to undermine each other and claim the coin, only to fall in love along the way.
