UMBRELLA HAS SO MANY GREAT COVER

Rihanna's Umbrella maybe the most covered song with other versions that are also outstanding.
From pop to acoustic to rock, they sound great.Even Linkin Park have one, but I kinda don't like it.

It's rainy season once again, so I think We should have our umbrella ready just in case it rains.

This time I am gonna post Three of my favorite cover of Umbrella.

Up Next is Vanilla Sky with their version. Although McFly and Vanilla Sky do sounds the same but Vanilla Sky's version is also great especially at the beginning.

Celtic's Pride Returns

I was wrong at my prediction that Lakers would win the Finals in Game Six, turns out that it was the opposite, it was the Green and White of the Boston Celtics that dominated the Finals.

It was imminent that the Celtics would win the Championship after Game 4, down by as much as 24 points in the second half. The Celtics rallied down the stretch to beat the Lakers 97-91 in Game 4.

I thought that the Lakers have the greatest comeback in the Finals in Game 2, but they fell short.

It was hunger and determination that paved the way for the Big Three to win their first NBA title. It was the 17th Championship for the Celtics and the first one after 22 years. Last time around was with Larry Bird, Kevin McHale and Robert Parish the original Big Three back in 1986.

Kevin Garnett and Ray Allen each scored 26 points to lead the Celtics. While Finals MVP Paul Pierce added 17 points.

The Lakers simply have no match against Kevin Garnett who simply outsmart, outhustled, outrebounded and sometimes knock Pau Gasol down. Gasol was just too soft for Garnett to crack offensively. Also, the bench of the Celtics outplayed its counterpart, thanks mainly to veterans Sam Cassel,James Posey and PJ Brown.

Can they do it again next year ? Only the Big Three cans answer.

The Lakers are still Alive

This time the L.A. Lakers survived the onslaught of the Boston Celtics in Game 5 of the NBA Finals with a win of 103-98.

Winning the Game 5 of the NBA Finals cuts the deficit of the series to 2-3.Game 6 Would be tough because I am pretty sure that the Celtics want to end the series right away.

No team has ever come back from a 3-1 deficit in NBA history.The Lakers are only two wins away from doing that. But up against the Mighty Celtics, I think that they might have a hard time doing it.

My prediction that Lakers will win it six games is already history, now that the Celtics can end it Game 6.

The Lakers started the Game once again with an early big lead just like in Game 4, but this time they managed to hold on to it.The Celtics even tied it at 90-all with less than 5 minutes remaining.This time Kobe Bryant diplayed flashes of brilliance down the stretch.

I think that Game 6 will be toughest of the series with the Title on the line for the Celtics and survival for the Lakers.

METAL GEAR SOLID 4 IS A MASTERPIECE

Wondering why, it took me so long to update my post ? It's because of this game, Metal Gear Solid 4.

Upon starting arguably the most anticipated game of 2008, you'll be welcomed with an installation screen boasting an incredibly detailed bust of this tale's protagonist, calmly smoking cigarette after cigarette, coupled with the various health warnings that usually take up space in the manual, or the back of the case. After the initial install, which takes approximately 8 minutes, you're thrown into the first of many amazingly directed cutscenes. The seemingly slow start does a great job at setting the scene for a non-stop thrill-ride experience, burrowing ever deeper into the story of the MGS universe.

Along the way, you'll be treated with the chance to remind yourself of the back story of the Metal Gear Solid saga, with button-presses during cutscenes triggering flashbacks, and given that MGS4 has such a legendary series behind it, this game does a brilliant job at evoking a sense of nostalgia that no other modern game, of my knowledge, has managed to accomplish.

In an attempt to keep this review spoiler-free, I'll keep the name of a 'certain key location' from Snake's past under wraps, but going back there is, undoubtedly, one of the best things that could happen to long-time fans of the series.

Fans of the series that were longing for all the loose ends to be tied up will not be disappointed. The game is, however, not without it's usual accompaniment of plot twists, and even in this game alone, manages to create more loose ends, and tie them up by the time the experience comes to an end. Every surviving character from previous games of the series is brought back to have their story fulfilled, and new characters, such as the new members of Rat Patrol and the Beauty and the Beast unit, make for a truly memorable, immersing, video gaming experience.

The gameplay has had a few changes applied to it, which may take some getting used to for veterans of the series, but shouldn't prove to be an obstacle, as the story will be sure to make you persist through the campaign.

Shooting can now be taken care of via an 'over-the-shoulder' camera, similar to Resident Evil 4, Gears of War, or Dark Sector, or by aiming down the sights of the various weapons of the huge arsenal made available to you by either collecting them from the battlefield, or by your friendly neighborhood gun launderer, Drebin. His shop can be accessed at any time via the pause menu, and offers items such as ammo, playboy magazines, new weapons, weapon upgrades and customization, and the unlocking of ID-Tagged weapons that you find on the battlefield.

The OctoCamo system is a new addition that avoids the fuss of the camouflage menus of MGS3. OctoCamo adapts to the environment that you are in. If you lie still, or are flattened still against a wall or object, the camouflage will adjust to the texture that you are against, making it possible to sometimes hide in plain view.

You are also reminded to pay attention to the new Psyche and Stress gauges. These both have an impact on how you perform during combat. If your stress rises to 100%, you will experience a 'Combat High', which, while benefitting for a period of time, has a negative impact on your abilities as soon as your stress drops again, resulting in shaky hands while aiming.

Graphically, this is one groundbreaking game. I found myself constantly thinking; "There is a game that can finally take the graphics crown from Uncharted: Drake's Fortune.". The cutscenes often end with them blending seamlessly back into gameplay, reminding you of just how stunning the game engine behind this incredible title is. The lighting, while over the top and 'movie-like', takes a more realistic stance than that of other game engines such as the Unreal Engine, and often fooled me into thinking that some of the scenes were acted out by real people.

The sound effects in this title are easily on a higher level than any other game out there. The voice acting puts many movies to shame, with the game's actors putting on a moving, emotive performance. The sound effects are best heard through a surround sound system, as they are nothing short of spectacular.

Last note on this Games:

This game is simply a perfectly executed package, and a true testament to the potential of the PlayStation 3's hardware, and the creative genius of Hideo Kojima and his team. As much as I hate to see this series come to an end, after seeing the battle waged by Snake in his final chapter, I believe Snake has earned his rest, and received a fitting send off in what I believe is the best videogame of all time.

Farewell, Solid Snake.

Nice Toys from Mc DonaldsHappy Meals

If you've seen the movie Kung Fu Panda, you must have heard its toys from McDonalds Happy Meal.

Well these toys are nice for kids to play with. There are eight characters to choose from or collect.

It includes the main hero Po, Master Shifu, Tai Long and the five other Kung Fu Masters.

Your kids will probably love it, they are well detailed and each character comes with specific action to perform.

Great for toy collector.Another nice set of toys from Mc Donalds.It also comes cheap, because it comes with every Happy Meal. They are big compare to the other Kung Fu Panda Toys out in the market today.

It's Lakers Time

It's Lakers turn to host the NBA Finals for three straight game. They will be hosting from Game 3 to 5.

I am sure sure that the Lakers are aching to bounce back in the series and finally gab a win in tonight's game.

You see how dangerous they were in Game 2, erasing a 24 point deficit in just over four minutes. They could have won that game had Sasha Vujacic made his three point with over a minute left.

The Lakers 0ffense and defense were tremendous at that time, although they missed their last two important field goal.

The Celtics should be very afraid, they are the underdogs here in this series. Expect the Lakers to bounce back.

The MVP, Kobe Bryant is trying to prove something and that is winning a championship without Shaq. Expect him to play hard in the next games.

It's game time.

KUNG FU PANDA is a must see movie

If you're looking for a great family movie. I am recommending Kung Fu Panda.

Kung Fu Panda has lots of funny moments that kids and kids at heart will surely love.

The film starts with Po being picked as the Dragon Warrior. From then he must trained with the Furious Five and its teacher, Master Shifu. Although I cannot describe what kind of animal is Master Shifu, but he is also funny in his scenes. From this moment on, I am letting you discover the wonder of the film and find out for yourself what happened to Po.

The CGI animation is so alive and detailed. The film is also very colorful. It will stimulate your visuals. Dream Works has done it again and keeps on improving with the quality of their works.

This is a great wacky and hilarious film for the entire family. I am pretty sure that this movie will have a sequel and I can't wait for it.

CELTICS VS LAKERS

Much have been written about these two fabled teams. The Lakers and The Celtics finally faces each other once again the NBA finals after twenty one long years.

The Lakers and the Celtics met 10 times in the Finals from 1959-87, with the Celtics winning the first eight. Magic Johnson and Kareem Abdul Jabbar were the pillars of that Lakers team against Larry Bird and Kevin McHale of the Celtics.

Now comes a new breed of Lakers and Celtics.

This is Kobe Bryant's chance to prove that he can win a championship without Shaquille O' Neal. Although he got the support of another 7 footer, lanky Spaniard Pau Gasol. Pau Gasol has more perimeter shot compared to Shaq. Gasol can shoot the three at any given time. Kobe and Pau are the new dynamic duo of the Lakers.

The Big Three of the Celtics are veterans out to prove their greatness in the league. Kevin Garnett, Ray Allen and Paul Pierce wnat just one thing in their mind. A championship before they retire. Although they don't have championship experience, it is their supporting cast who can teach them how to play at cruch time. Sam Cassel and James Posey are champions who can instill the virtue of how to be a Champion.

This is the Celtics chance to redeem themselves, who never have success at the league after the 1986-1987 season, failing to advance in the Finals for 21 years.

What's exciting about this series is Phil Jackson's record of surpassing Red Auerbach. With his tenth title at stake. I am pretty sure that he will do everything just to get that exclusive tenth championship ring. He will than be named the greatest coach ever. Six championship with the Chicago Bulls and three with the Lakers, another one is coming unless the Celtics stops his team.

My prediction Lakers will win it in six games.

This video game from Activision looks very exciting to play and I am looking forward to play it.

This game is packed with thirteen level of action, you can invite three of your friends to play with and the foes here looks just tough.

This is a good promotional tool to promote the movie, just in time for the release of the film this coming Friday.
