Then and Now.....

My days at Wendy’s are over but I still got the chance to know what goes around in that company, that is of course thru my beautiful wife Ellaine. Since the first day I step foot on that Company, I saw this young, lovely and beautiful receptionist of theirs. She was the one I decided to work on that Company, must be love at first sight.

She was just like an actress, with the spotlight glowing on her face. They got halogen light at the lobby, so you’re beauty will really shines. Everyone one knows I’ve been hitch by this beautiful girl.

I just can’t believe that it’s been over 10 long years since my first, not only my first but also of my wife. Wendy just moved in from Manila to Alabang that year, so there were lot of us “ ROOKIES “ or “ NEWBIES “ in that company and we were assigned to have our very own production number.

Retro was the motif on Christmas Party 1997, so we were just thinking of what dance number to perform. Grease was our first choice, but after several discussion and argument we scrapped it. Heck we even bought a soundtrack of that film, which I still kept throughout these years.

Good thing was that Sally, a native of Tarlac, had a neighbor who can teach us what to perform. I forgot her name, but one thing I remember was that our Choreographer was once a dancer of WEA Dance Group. We told her the motif, and she suggested “ Let’s Groove Tonight “ by Earth, Wind and Fire.

We were then out of time so we only had a week or two to practice. Practice Session happens at Ellaine’s place where there was some sort of stage behind their house. By the way that some sort of stage also served as our Reception Area during our Wedding. Back to the Party now. The Christmas Party was held at The Heritage Hotel along EDSA extension.

We gave our best during our performance, but the competition was so stiff so we went home empty handed but nevertheless the experience was unforgettable. Every beat of your heart just keeps on beating fast during those moments. The Adrenalin rush was inevitable. One unforgettable Christmas Party…..

To be continued…..

Heath's sudden Death

Life is just too fast and too short, you see I was just talking about the new Batman movie last month and I still showed you its latest photo. Batman side by side with The Joker, played by now departed Heath Ledger.

The Dark Knight was one of my anticipated movies this year alongside Iron Man and the latest Indiana Jones. I was shocked at the news that Heath Ledger passed away last Tuesday Night. His sudden death somehow put the movie world in sorrow. He was a great and versatile actor. From his breakthrough performance as Mel Gibson’s son in The Patriot, I knew that this young actor would make it big and what impact he had made with his acting debut, grabbing most of the lead role in his subsequent movies.

Of course most people would remember him as the other half of gay cowboy couple in Brokeback Mountain. His sterling performance in the controversial film, earned him an Academy Award nomination.

Maybe it has something to do with his name, Heath’s name rhymes with Death, or its just coincidental. Sounds mysterious ?

In case you didn’t know he also starred in A Knight’s Tale, The Four Feathers, The Brothers Grimm with Matt Damon. Playing the Joker in the latest Batman sequel seems to be his biggest break and also his last great performance. This young Australian Actor will surely be missed in the movie world. May he rest in peace.

Meltdown at Miami

I was surprised at what is happening around the NBA these days. Who would have thought that the NBA Champs two years ago, the Miami Heat are now languishing at the cellar at the Eastern Division with an unlucky thirteen game losing streak.

Of course they did start the season with a 0-5 record, with Dwayne Wade still injured at the start of the season. And as luck would have it, it was Shaq’s turn to get injured during their recent thirteen game slump and still counting.

They were the defending champions last year, but they were derailed by the Chicago Bulls in the first round of the playoffs. So a roster revamp is inevitable. Trading Antoine Walker to the T-Wolves in exchange for Ricky Davis may just have been a bad move for the Heat. In my opinion, Ricky Davis and Wade play just the same way, unlike Walker who is not only a scorer but also a bruiser and a body banger. The Heat should have at least get someone who had some of Walker’s capability.

Another that got traded who seems to be lucky now is James Posey, unlike Walker’s T-Wolves who have the worst record in the NBA, traded to the powerhouse Boston Celtics. The Heat simply missed his outside shot during crunch time.

Another bad mistake for the Heat is not re-signing Gary Payton, I still choose Payton’s playmaking skills over Jason Williams sometimes selfish plays. Gary Payton brings direction, leadership to the team when his around.

If I were Pat Riley I put in Gary Payton back at the lineup, there is still time to catch up, its only midseason. Shaq and Dwayne should give their damn very best if they want to return to their glory days.

MARCOS statue ruins

During my latest visit in Baguio City before the year 2007 ends, I noticed along Marcos Highway the ruined statue of former President Marcos. I was shocked and disgusted about the people who destroyed it.

What I’m trying to say is that statue has somehow remained a legacy of President Marcos great rule over the country for two decades. The people who did this should have at least paid their respect for the former President.

It has been one of the two landmark when you’re on your way to Baguio City, tourist stopped by to take a shot when it was still in good condition. The two landmarks I’m saying is in case you didn’t know was The Marcos statue on Marcos Highway and The Lion statue on Kennon Road.

During President Marcos time, the Philippines was the number one country in Southeast Asia and Number two in Asia lagging only behind Japan, and yes we were ahead of China and Hongkong during those times.

But when President Marcos was ousted and replaced by Corazon Aquino, the Philippines swiftly lagged down in the Southeast Asia in terms of economic growth. Not only that, Government Offices has become more corrupt and Government Officials greedier. The Philippines shouldn’t have suffered if only our Congressmen and Senators could give up their pork barrel, imagined a whooping P 100 Million plus per year, that is enough to feed a whole country. Filipino people shouldn’t be suffering from poverty just because of this.
Philippine politics is so sickening.

I think Gloria Macapagal Arroyo is probably the most corrupt Philippine President in history, almost all of her family member is in politics. President Marcos has done a lot of good things under his leadership.

Remembering TITANIC

It has been ten years since Titanic hit the big screen. I still can remember the moment I saw it first. It was after my job interview that I got the chance to watch it. It was a Thursday and Titanic is showing on its first day.

I had no idea about the film, since I haven’t seen its trailer. All I knew then was it was about a ship that sunk. My movie History recalls that there was this film S.O.S Titanic because I always see its cover on my favorite video store.

Neither do I know its stars, Leonardo Dicaprio and Kate Winslet. Although Leonardo seems familiar since I saw him in The Quick and The Dead. Now Kate Winslet was a surprise on the film. Whoa, what a beautiful girl and a nice body too or a nice pair of big boobs she had.

From the very beginning of the film, I was hooked up till the end. The movie was just too damn beautiful never mind that it is three hour long, of course every money you paid for was worth it. It was a grand film and an instant classic. Everybody went gaga over this film. Everybody would like to be Jack and Rose, a lot of spoofs had been made regarding the film.

Not only does the movie became a big hit, but also its song “ My Hear Will Go On “ by Celine Dion became the national anthem of every lovers during those time. It became a phenomenon, a karaoke hit.

Ten years after, I still love this film and I wont get tired or bored watching this film well directed by the brilliant James Cameron. No wonder it became the world’s highest grossing film of all time. Its 3 disc DVD edition seems quite expensive but like I’ve said before, every penny is worth it. This film is a masterpiece.

UNCHARTED : DRAKE'S FORTUNE .....A treasure on PS3

Uncharted : Drake’s Fortune is one of the coolest game that came out in PS3. It’s like Gears of War meets Tomb Raider in terms of action, gameplay and puzzle solving. Nathan Drake is just like the modern day Indiana Jones, who is hot on the trail of his ancestor Sir Francis Drake, the English-pirate-explorer turned National Hero who have left clues to ancient treasures.

This is an excellent paced game, it never feels like a stale rehash of old and tiring concepts of other games. Although it only has a short playtime, about eight hours, but every minute of the game is truly worth it and not just a waste of time with some repetitive and padded gameplay just to make it longer. Every minute of this game is a jewel.

Production values are way over the top especially with eye popping vibrant graphics. Feels like you’ve just hit the jackpot with this awesome game. There are a lot of great stage in this game, but one downfall for this game is the stage where you have to barrel your way across the river in a jetski and shoot some mercenaries at the same time, but thankfully that part is not too long.

Overall, Uncharted : Drake’s Fortune is a gold mine for PS3. Truly an exhilarating over the top game. If Xbox 360 has Gears of War, Uncharted : Drake’s Fortune is his counterpart in PS3.Great Job by Naughty Dog.

FHM.COM.PH probably the coolest website of FHM

If you're into girls or if you are just the type of guy who likes to stare in a girl's face or body. Ok not stare but instead the right word "admire" then www.fhm.com.ph is the one for you.

As you can see, FHM Philippines is probably the best version of FHM, among its other affiliate country. I've seen FHM US but it still pales in comparison with FHM Philippines. The British version is probably the one that could give FHM Philippines a run for its money.

But I'm not talking about the magazine here, but its website. As you may know, www.fhm.com.ph offers lots of great stuff and cool entertainment for your surfing pleasure.
The one I've liked the most is its 100% Hottie where each of the featured girls are being shot from its initial pictures with still their clothing on up to their sexiest pose. Although they only have one girl for each month but with different photo shoot each week, so it still is worth SEEING.

Probably the best or the Hottest 100% Hottie for me is Clarissa Mercado, Clarissa is just too damn hot to handle with each of her pictures. Man just look at her face and her drop dead gorgeous body, truly a 100% Hottie. For this month they are featuring Shanella Strauss, another eye popping beauty. She might be my 100% Hottie for the year.

Another cool thing about this website is their Incoming section, where they features Bar Room Jokes, my favorite Ladies Confession,Asia Agcaoili's Sex Confidential,True Stories.

They also got Entertainment section where you can read their latest reviews on movies, games, Books and Cd's.

Their Gallery section lets you interact with other people, here you can upload your naughty photos and let other people view it. Not just naughty photo but wacky photo as well.

Of Course let's not forget the Babes section, feast your eyes on those lovely, sexy and beautiful Filipinas. So if I were you I'll visit it right now.
